Overview: ONE68 proudly delivered the fitout of Peter Alexander’s new-format flagship store at Chadstone Shopping Centre — a vibrant, playful space described by Peter himself as a “treasure trove of gorgeous things & details.” Executed to meet both brand guidelines and centre management requirements, the project balanced creativity with precision, resulting in a high-quality retail environment that captures the spirit of Peter Alexander.

The works encompassed every stage of delivery, from site establishment and coordination with centre management through to demolition, construction, and final handover. Scope included the installation of partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, flooring and finishes; bespoke joinery and display units; custom point-of-sale counters; and integration of building services spanning electrical, lighting, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, and communications. Key brand elements were realised through a bold solid-pink ceiling, curved mouldings, bespoke shelving, illuminated signage, and a vintage cinema-inspired fitting room concept.

Compliance with all centre requirements, statutory certifications, and safety provisions was maintained throughout, culminating in full commissioning, defect rectification, and delivery of as-builts and O&M documentation. From the carefully considered shopfront to the whimsical fitting rooms, the project showcases ONE68’s craftsmanship and attention to detail — delivering a fully operational store that embodies Peter Alexander’s iconic charm in a refreshed, flagship format.
